Dr. Lisa Eyler from UC San Diego's Center for Empathy and Compassion Training in Medical Education will introduce key concepts about how to make your classroom a more compassionate space for teaching and learning. 

The workshop will include skill building exercises in self-compassion, discussion of power dynamics in education, and concrete tips for enhancing belonging for learners while compassionately maintaining accountability in the classroom.
