Manager, Center for Compassionate Leadership Teacher Training Program

The Teacher Training Program Manager is an essential team member who provides operational leadership and administrative stewardship for the Center for Compassionate Leadership's Teacher ecosystem. This role coordinates the systems, communications, and relationships that enable Teacher Training programs and the Accredited Teacher community to operate with excellence while advancing the Center's mission of creating a more compassionate world.

This is a remote, part-time (15-20 hours per week) contractor position with potential for growth.

Program Administration and Operations

Ensure the seamless administration and delivery of Teacher Training programs by coordinating the operational systems, logistics, financial administration, records, and processes that support participants, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the operational lifecycle of Teacher Training programs from inquiry to enrollment through accreditation.

  • Manage program calendars, implementation timelines, and operational workflows.

  • Oversee enrollment, payments, certification requirements, participant records, and related administrative processes and communications.

  • Produce and administer Zoom learning sessions.

  • Prepare and maintain program materials, surveys, documentation, and operational resources.

  • Integrate curriculum updates and assure quality control across all channels.

  • Ensure that programs are delivered accurately, consistently, and in alignment with Center standards.

  • Resolve routine operational issues and appropriately elevate significant concerns.

  • Continuously improve operational systems, processes, and documentation.

Communications, Community, and Engagement

Strengthen relationships across the Teacher ecosystem by fostering meaningful communication, community engagement, and effective outreach to prospective participants, Teacher Training participants, Accredited Teachers, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for Teacher Training participants and Accredited Teachers.

  • Develop and coordinate communications that support participants throughout the Teacher Training journey.

  • Foster engagement within the Accredited Teacher community through ongoing communication, events, and collaborative opportunities.

  • Facilitate community dialogue through internal communication platforms and social channels.

  • Develop and maintain marketing materials, presentations, graphics, email campaigns, and other communication assets that support Teacher Training programs.

  • Support recruitment and marketing efforts by communicating the value of Teacher Training programs to prospective participants.

  • Coordinate the successful transition of newly Accredited Teachers into the Compassionate Leadership Accredited Teacher community.

Systems, Technology, and Organizational Support

Strengthen the Center's operational capacity by efficiently managing and continuously improving the systems, technology, and processes that support Teacher Training and the Accredited Teacher community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve administrative systems, workflows, documentation, and organizational records.

  • Manage the technology platforms that support communication, administration, recordkeeping, and virtual learning.

  • Leverage technology, automation, and emerging AI tools to improve operational effectiveness, participant experience, and organizational efficiency.

  • Prepare reports, program metrics, and administrative information to support organizational planning and decision-making.

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and strengthen organizational capacity.

  • Contribute to special projects and organizational initiatives that advance the Center's mission.

Qualifications

  • Deep desire to grow compassion in the world through leadership

  • Strong embodiment of compassion and strong relational skills

  • Clear and compelling communicator

  • Purpose-driven program leader, with track record in managing learning programs, cohorts, and community

  • Experience in leadership development and compassion-based learning programs

  • Previous training and current practice in compassion, mindfulness, or emotional intelligence

  • Experience with the following:

    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    • Google suite (Google docs, slides, forms, classroom, etc.)

    • Zoom

    • AI Platforms

    • MailChimp

    • LinkedIn

    • Canva

    • Squarespace

    • CRM systems

    • Comfort with both scientific evidence and contemplative wisdom.

Location

This is a remote work position. Qualified candidates need to be available to coordinate with team members in the Eastern Time Zone (US and Canada, UTC – 5:00).
